The Woman Behind

RED MARE

Red Mare Embroidery + was built from a lifelong love of entrepreneurship and craftsmanship. Coming from a family of business owners, building something of my own was never a question.

My foundation in sewing began with my late grandmother, who instilled in me that quality is a standard — not a luxury — and that true craftsmanship stands the test of time. In 2018, I began creating embroidered blanket tags, combining that skillset with my background in the horse industry. What started as a small, functional product evolved into a full custom embroidery and promotional goods brand serving both equestrian and business clients.

Entrepreneurship, however, started earlier. My first venture was in equine bodywork — a business that continues to grow and thrive today. Red Mare Embroidery + was built from that same drive to create, refine, and elevate the industries I’m part of.

The name Red Mare is intentional. It is first a nod to my initials, but it also reflects the strong equine roots that shaped me — and the resilience, presence, and power associated with a mare. Being women-owned and operated is not a tagline; it is a core value. Strength, work ethic, and follow-through are qualities I’ve seen consistently in horsewomen, and they translate seamlessly into business.

Our team is largely made up of like-minded equestrians — women who understand discipline, long hours, attention to detail, and performing under pressure. The same qualities required in the barn and show ring are the ones that allow a business to run — and run well.

Red Mare isn’t just about embroidery. It’s about building something strong, intentional, and built to last.
